This is a blog about my family: Chris (husband extrodinaire), Cameron Juliet (two year old darling daughter), Barnaby (5 pound Yorkshire Terror), Saddie ("big boned" yellow lab), Hershey (lovable, but slow, chocolate lab), and me, Jenna,(wife, mother and teacher).

The Wiggles
Oh, how life has changed because we were ALL so excited to go to a Wiggles Concert this summer! The thought of seeing Jeff, Sam, Anthony and Murray live and in person was just too much. So we made some signs (as all dedicated fans do at a concert) and traveled to a shady area of the city to see the Wiggles. Cami was very overwhelmed at first, not really knowing how to react. But she was over the moon to see Jeff (her favorite), and by the end of the show she was dancing in the aisle. All of the Wiggles interacted with Cami personally, and they put on a great show.
OCNJ- Year # 3
Our Ocean City vacation was once again a tremendous success. Yet as Cami gets older, so do her interests. This year was different from last year because she was ALL ABOUT the ocean and the rides! We stayed in the same beautiful house as last year with Popi and Gaz, and had great weather once again. We celebrated Gazz's birthday at the beginning of the week, and Chris' birthday at the end of the week. This year we also ventured to the Cape May Zoo which was great (and free).
We had so much fun, and Cami loves the shore so much, that we actually bought our own shore house at the end of the summer. Now Cami can grow up and have the same wonderful OCNJ memories that Chris and I had in our childhood.

Swimming
This summer Cami has developed many new loves, and one big one is swimming! She loves it--and is very good for never having had a lesson. She is very daring--she will float on her back, and put her face underwater. We joined a swim club this year, so she will get lots of practice and lessons will start soon too.
School Spirit Day
During the Flyers fantastic playoff run this spring, Cami's school requested that all of the students wear Flyers colors to show support. What started as a simple trip to the store to buy her a Flyers tee shirt ended up with me purchasing an orange over-the-top tutu ensemble. Yet, she loved it and worked it to it's fullest--as the video clearly illustrates.
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom
Take Your Child To Work Day
I was so nervous to do it, but I took Cami to work with me this year. She couldn't have been more excited. The night before she carefully packed her own lunch in her Thomas the Train lunchbox. She loved getting to do what Mommy does each night. When the morning finally came, she was ready to roll. I was so proud of her! She interacted with my students and my co-workers. She even wrote on the board while Mommy was teaching. My favorite part of the day was when she "read" Chicka Chicka Boom Boom to my reading classes. The students loved her and kept coming back to the classroom for a hello or high-five from Cami. Lunch was also quite special because we snuck outside and ate our pb+js together. It was like spending time with my best friend. I was so proud and happy. I wish I could take her with me every day.
Every Three Months
That's about right--it seems to take me three months to find time enough to update this blog. Sorry for those who keep demanding updates. I'm finally on it!! Enjoy!

Happy Easter
Easter was a very popular holiday with Cami this year. She was spoiled by many family members who sent her early presents and baskets. She enjoyed opening each and every gift. She was also very excited for the Easter Bunny's arrival. She was anxious to look for the eggs he hid for her all over the house. In fact since Sunday she has woken up every day and asked, "Did the Easter Bunny come again?!?" She even wants Santa to hide her presents around the house now like the Easter Bunny did. Too cute.
Spring Showers
Cami is ready for any Spring Showers April may have in store--because she has froggy boots and a froggy raincoat. Even though her mommy tried very hard to get her the cute pink flowery rain jacket and boots, Cami insisted on the frog ones. Great. Regardless, she is ready for torrential downpours now...
Bounce U Playdate
This winter Cami had an amazing playdate with one of her favorite neighborhood friends. It was amazing because when Cami first got to "Bounce U" she was scared, intimidated, clinging to me and crying. It is kind of a daunting and loud place. However, by the end of the two hour session, and after Mom jumped and slid with her for a while-- she was bouncing like a pro on her own--even going down the huge slide all by herself (it's a lot steeper than it even looks!!) I was so proud of her!
