Well, I think we have finally conquered this cold! Cami is back to her adorable, rascaly self these days, as you can tell. She loves to walk around in circles in this toy. Also, if you look closely, you can see THREE bottom teeth coming in at once!! She is such a show-off.
This is a blog about my family: Chris (husband extrodinaire), Cameron Juliet (two year old darling daughter), Barnaby (5 pound Yorkshire Terror), Saddie ("big boned" yellow lab), Hershey (lovable, but slow, chocolate lab), and me, Jenna,(wife, mother and teacher).

Happy Easter!!
Well, we didn't make it to see the Easter Bunny this year, or to church, or to dinner with the family. Since Cami is still battling the cold from hell we stayed in all day. Good thing we had had a fashion shoot of her in her Easter dress last week before getting sick. So we'll just all pretend these were taken on Easter--okay??

Mister Neb
My baby has a cold. When I took her to the doctor's office yesterday to confirm it was in fact just a cold, we left with a parting gift I never wanted: Mister Neb. That is literally the name on the box. It's a nebulizer to help her breathing. Although she does just have a cold, apparently the mucus in her chest in making it difficult to breathe. So now every four hours we use Mister Neb. Cami has been quite a trooper about it-- the best sick baby I know. Yet it has all taken a toll on her mommy. As strong as I try to be, and although it is ONLY A COLD-- I cannot stand to see her in pain. I want to take on all of her symptoms so that she does not have to feel them. Yet, I can't. I guess this is a great motherhood lesson--not taking away our kids' problems, but helping them through them--it's just hard!! Cami has already responded well to her breathing treatments, and I know that "this too shall pass".

Mirror, Mirror, on the Wall
Although Cami has seen many mirrors before, when I showed her this mirror today, she totally freaked out. She screamed with delight and tried to touch her reflection. Then she proceeded to stare at herself.....at length. Let's just say these pictures were taken twenty minutes apart--honestly. (Those of you who know me may find some humor in her behavior). She was just perfectly content to lay in her crib and stare at her reflection all day. Let's hope she is as fond of her reflection during her teenage years!!!

Six Months Going on 6 Years!
Chris and I had to go to our accountant's office yesterday, so I used this as an opportunity to dress Cami up and take her out. After I finished putting on her jeans, and sweatshirt (thanks Aunt Bridget!) and shoes, I stopped to look at her and realized--she is all grown up. She sat in the chair examining her outfit, looking like quite a little lady. She really isn't a baby anymore--but a little girl with a bit of the devil in her eye. I don't know what it was about seeing her in jeans that put me over the edge, but I now have visions of her stepping on the school bus to go to 1st grade already!!
